  • Yes we are smart enough to figure out the universe michio kaku explained this fukn retareds

  • We are not smart enough to figure out the universe. So the therory if a creator is overly simplistic to me, almost primative. Ancient people couldn’t do it so they just said a God or Gods did it. Science is working on it but it’s still pretty new. We have come along way because of science but we still got a million more miles to go.The concept of God, was the best our little 5 pound brains can do. Up untill a couple of hundred years ago. Science will be the future.

  • @ianmac2010
I don’t care if a scientist holds an unscientific claim. It doesn’t matter if that particular person is an hypocrite, what matters is what they say: is it scientific? Is it based on evidence? If they say lies, discard them. But the unscientific claims don’t cancel the realistic, scientific ones.

Not only is there NO evidence for the Deity hypothesis, all evidence, even if not conclusive, leads to it being simply made up by humans, born out of ignorance and psychological needs.

  • Yet “scientists” slap lipstick on these suppositions, and insult anyone who does not swoon at them, as though recognizing their deception is somehow anti-scientific.

Knowing that these statements are mere personal opinions and supposition, “scientists” still embrace and broadcast them. Hypocrites! They profess both the Philosophy of Science and these ridiculous and unscientific statements.

Many unsophisticated people are caught in their deceptions. What a shame.

  • @pimpunclemo

I agree that “observe..hypothesis..experiment” is how science is supposed to work.

But why do so many “scientists” set that aside and affirm ideas like “Only believe what is scientifically proven”?

That statement refutes itself because it cannot be scientifically proven.

Likewise, the statement “there is no evidence for God” is a mere opinion not supported by Science.

I publicly announce that I prefer to read the bible in English. My mother and sister were both baptized in the church. I’ve read the bible cover to cover seven times, and I’m an atheist. You have effectively said nothing. Are you aware of what plagiarist means, because you wrote nothing about him supporting that. HE WROTE HIS OWN VERSION OF THE NEW TESTAMENT WHICH DEPICTS CHRIST AS NOT HOLY OR GOD IN THE FLESH. GO TO A LIBRARY AND CHECK IT OUT. You can’t even address that.

  • @pimpunclemo : Thomas Jefferson publicly professed his preference for reading the Holy Scriptures in Greek & Latin. Jefferson’s daughters were Baptized in the church. Jefferson was a lay-preacher and an authority on the Bible. Plagiarist Hitchens forms Jefferson in the image of Hitchens.

  • @ParadiseOnLand Read Thomas Jefferson’s personal rewrite of the new testament which excludes the divinity of christ and tell me he was a practicing protestant. No history altering needed, its already written, you can find it at most large libraries.

  • @ianmac2010
How does science not support that statement?(claims are nice but reasons defending such claims are preferable)

Which deceptions? What do they do that is hypocritical? What are they lying about? Again, back your statements. I can easily say Christians are actually evil snakes all trying to deceive us just to make them sound bad, but NO ONE’s gonna believe something that ridiculous without any evidence…….WAIT I FORGOT A Christian may find a talking snake totally plausible, HAHA

  • @ianmac2010″ “science…observer…hypothesis..experiment…” ” Yes those are all words, where do you address them? They’re decor I’m sure. You also never really addressed how insanely wrong you were about the scientific method…which leads me to believe you have nothing to say. Anyways,…what other type of knowledge is there? They drag science into it because science deals in all things that are(real). If you claim that god exist then it must involve science. continued……….

  • @Windlightesh
All religious people do is poop, spew lies, cry about how righteous they are, take money unearned or deserved like peddlers and beggars, spread intolerance, embrace bigotry, promote ignorance, enslave the feeble minded, prey on children using fear to brainwash their mind, exemplify hypocrisy, protect child molesting rapist, talk to their imaginary friends, and start wars over whose is better. We accept them because we know they’re idiots,….they don’t want to know anything.

  • @ianmac2010 ” That was a joke, i don’t care about your explanation as to why that wouldn’t warrant your god’s* attention.”
    *or your mothers
Perhaps you don’t read so well.

  • @pimpunclemo

    “science…observer…hypothesis..experiment…”

Then why do so many “scientists” fall into the trap of embracing self-refuting statements like “Only Scientific knowledge is valid”?

Why do so many conclude that there is no evidence for God, and drag Science into the argument, when they know that Science does not support that statement?

These deceptions sound plausible on the surface, but when one digs a little, one finds these people are hypocritical liars, hostile to Science.

  • @pimpunclemo

That’s like saying, “If I have a Mom, let her strangle me now for giggling at her!”

    Grow up.

  • @pimpunclemo that was a joke, i don’t care about your explanation as to why that wouldn’t warrant your god’s attention.

  • @ianmac2010 Like this one….if theres a god kill me now for i slight your name and curse it as well…(gives the finger)……… oh look im still typing…bad hypothesis….lets move on.;

  • @ianmac2010
Yet it is impossible to discover something you already know. The evidence of god is presupposed to be everything in existence seeing as Christians claim he brought it all into being. What science actually does is observe the evidence of the natural world and make a hypothesis(an educated guess based on the best evidence available) Then you devise an experiment to test the proposed evidence’s validity.

  • @pimpunclemo

    I beg your pardon?!

If you don’t know what you’re looking for, you can never claim that you have not found it.

    QED

  • @ianmac2010 Not quite, that method would very dangerously teeder on leading you towards a self forfiling prophecy.

  • Atheists do these three things: poop, spew, and cry. But what they don’t know is that we still love them!!! Yes, because we know they are like babies. They think they know everything

  • @shade1978x
With all due respect to Hitchens, he is not a good debater when it comes to the existance of God. He is more than proficient in slandering organizied religion (as he does here) but he never once offers proper arguments refuting the existance of God. Even when asked how can something come from nothing, he avoids it bluntly.

  • ow do you know there is no evidence for God when you have no hypothesis?

The hypothesis always comes before the evidence and defines what evidence is required to verify the hypothesis.

Write an hypothesis which states clearly what you are looking to prove (existence of God) and what data would verify the hypothesis.

The evidence for God may be staring you in the face. You would never know without first defining what evidence would suffice.

  • Answers only come from questions.

  • You are probably right. The state church has done its job in these practically secular countries and produced atheists en masse.

  • @omegavalerius Being practically secular may be more important, seeing as the US is not.
