  • I’ve seen far too many divorces to even consider marriage. The guy get’s hosed over so badly that he never really recovers. I used to be lonely but after a time I adjusted to being single and now I’m happy this way. Oh I get a girlfriend every few years but such relationships make me feel confined and unhappy these days. It’s not all bad though. I’ve never had to pay child support, never divorced and my home will be paid off by september. Then my expenses will only be 25% of my paycheck.

  • The documentary is fantastic! I was able to totally relate as a single person in her early 40′s. It was so professional and the topics of interest are varied. Kudos to my friend JANE SCANDURRA! You go girl!! AND THE MUSIC IS AWESOME…lobby for commercial soundtrack!

  • The trailer was great and made me purchase the DVD. “Single” told me things I didn’t know and sort of tied everything together. It was also humorous which you don’t get very often in documentaries. At the end I came away feeling better about being single and was actually quite uplifted. It generates lots of conversation and I am going to show it to my parents so they can get a better idea of what dating is like today.

  • Loved the trailer and will order the dvd. I’m single with cat and loving it. Thankfully my parents stopped asking about boyfriends, marriage a long time ago – they realize that I’m happy the way I am and that’s all that matters!

  • Anxious to see the film – trailer looks great. Looking for more from Dick & Jane.

  • This hit so close to home it is scary. I am buying the DVD for all my single friends. As a woman who recently got married for the second time, I can’t believe how well this movie explains all the dimensions we face. It is more than a documentary, it is research and it clearly outlines how society has evolved so that women are driving to that perfect career while waiting so much longer for that perfect relationship — and then find themselves deafened by the biological clock. It is awesome!

  • I loved this movie. Great stuff.

  • Does this drive for perfection, on the whole, help or hinder us as humans.
Isn’t that the human condition, to want to be perfect, in every sense of the word: Socially, Politically, above all else Environmentally?
I think it helps us, Perfection is the ultimate goal, other wise what else is there?

  • This is so true! It looks really interesting. And I like the music!
